Mrs W had a long held wish to re-create her childhood memories of a warm, friendly kitchen around a large Victorian family table. When she and Mr W came across a delightful but run down Georgian country house the project was on. Kim and Pat from Barnes were called in to contribute their tuppence worth once the architects and builders had re-shaped the house to Mr & Mrs W’s instructions.
Walls were removed, windows added and enlarged, floors leveled and paved, acre’s of painting and decorating completed. The kitchen furniture was made to order, installed, hand painted in situ and then the heavy legged kitchen table was put in place to complete the picture.
