Cool in the Kitchen

Over the last year we have seen a definite shift in the styles of kitchens our customers are requesting.  Whilst there will always be demand for classic country style kitchens and dining furniture, our cabinetmakers are really enjoying the process of creating ultra contemporary and super chic modern designs.  From high gloss paint finishes through to invisible soft touch opening mechanisms on cabinets, polished concrete and corian work-surfaces to coloured or textured glass splash-backs the contemporary look is certainly far from minimal, more a vibrant modern and inspiring lifestyle choice.  Currently here at Barnes we are making at least one contemporary kitchen each month and the variety of producing both classic and modern designs gives us the chance to show our abilities as bespoke kitchen designers.

Classic Style never fades

Classic style kitchens will never fade or go out of fashion and the kitchen dresser is without a doubt one of the most practical storage solutions.  Dressers and free-standing furniture work well in period properties but also look striking in rustic chic kitchens and open plan spaces such as more urban loft developments.

Our bespoke dressers are designed to suit your needs, if you have a small London flat we can design a dresser to fit the proportions of your kitchen.  However should you own a gorgeous manor house in the Lake District we can create grand pantry cupboards, larders and dining furniture to suit the architectural style of your home.
