Kitchen design build & install
As one of the teams’ favourite kitchens of 2018, this is a fantastic example of the entire process that we offer here at Barnes. From the initial meeting with the client we get to see the site and listen to ideas. Then comes the kitchen design phase which is perfected until sign-off. Then it’s onto the rip out of the existing room and on to any remedial building work. The kitchen is being hand made in our Devon workshops during this time with all cabinetry primed ready to be installed on site. Then comes the kitchen install and any associated plumbing and wiring connected. Finally once all is done our painters come in to complete the job and sign off another fine Barnes kitchen.
As per the article, the kitchen is painted in two blues; Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue and Little Greene Bone China Blue. The handmade cabinetry keeps a simple yet effective classic framed-style look and uses brushed satin door furniture. Kitchen surfaces are Silestone Eternal Marfil quartz composite which gives a subtle sparkle. All flooring is the original oak that has been lovingly restored to reveal the true grain glory.
Soft furnishing including the curtains, blinds and built-in seating are made using La Moulade fabric by Nina Campbell. Kitchen pendant lights are from Amos Lighting.
